Prepare for childbirth with our comprehensive antenatal education classes accompanied with gentle yoga based movement and guided relaxation. Gain valuable knowledge and confidence in this 6 week course to support you throughout your pregnancy journey.
Pregnancy Strength and Stretch Class
Join us for this gentle stretch and strength class designed specifically for safe and enjoyable movement throughout your pregnancy. A relaxing and calm way to allow your body to ease out any tightness with gentle stretches whilst maintaining strength and mobility to enable you to move and function as your body changes and baby grows. After a gentle warm up we will flow through a sequence of movements and positions to music leaving you feeling relaxed and strong. 45min class suitable from around 12 weeks all the way up to birth date! All levels of fitness and ability welcome, adaptions and options for all. This is a practical, relaxed, informative and fun active birth workshop helping you to prepare for your labour and birth of your baby. This workshop is best taken from around 30 weeks of pregnancy onwards to ensure everything stays fresh in your mind for the big day
Couples/Birth Partner Workshops
A workshop where you and your birth partner will learn all about labour and birth together. Over the course of 4hrs you will learn all about the stages of labour, including practical tools and techniques you can both use to help you feel informed, empowered, and in control. This is a practical, relaxed, informative and fun active birth workshop helping you to prepare for your labour and birth of your baby. This workshop is best taken from around 30 weeks of pregnancy onwards to ensure everything stays fresh in your mind for the big day
Postnatal Exercise Classes
PIYO
This is a weekly upbeat, low impact, with just a little touch of gentle cardio class for postnatal women. A 1hr class suitable for all women to attend in the postnatal period. Women should be at least 6 weeks post vaginal birth and around 10-12 weeks post caesarean birth. This class is also suitable for women who are within the first year after birth, would like to start exercising but have not done any restorative core exercise since giving birth. All levels of fitness and ability welcome, adaptions and options for all. Non mobile babies are welcome at this class but you are also welcome to leave your little one at home if you’d prefer or if they are on the move!
